I pulled the following codes this morning on the way to work. They showed up right after the truck stumbled a bit.
P0171 - Bank 1 too lean
P0174 - Bank 2 too lean
Here's the one's I can't find:
P0000
P1008
P2000
C0480
I'm thinking it could be just some bad gas as this was her first time sputtering - but doing my due diligence, does any ideas on the codes I can't find? Just in case I have a bigger problem.
Those sound like the codes for a 97 and up Ford truck. I had a 98 Expedition that had those same exact codes and it was a vacuum leaks and a bad gas cap
I put about a gallon of gas that had been sitting on my doorstep into the tank about a day ago (tank was nearly full). It was pretty old, but I didn't think much of it.
I cleared the codes with my scantool and will see if they pop back up in a day or two after I refill the tank. Hopefully it was just the gas, but the EGR valve wouldn't be too horrible either.
Do a google for OBD II codes and see how many sites come up. I found a couple of real good sites. Unfortunately they are on my personal computer and I am on the road right now with my company computer so I can't tell you which ones I liked.
