Unhappy A lesson relearned?

I share with all the rest of us working folks that has watched our ever shrinking dollar get smaller and suddenly a world that seems not so perfect. I’ am not the smartest person that ever existed, I doubt that I even come in second but even though no one wants to admit it this has been coming down the wire for quite some time. I have always been the kind of person that played a straight game of cards, I have my dad to thank for that, so it was very heart breaking to see the things that people with the know how could do and get by while the rest of just struggled.<O</O
<O</O

These are not new things and despite what it sounds like I do not harbor sour grapes I some how knew that when people began to become reckless with a holier than thou attitude in the corporate America</ST1 it was going to hurt. For me things made me take notice at time but with Enron that was a spectacle to behold. Has any one noticed that most all Enron exec’s was photographed from below the eye level leaving them to appear bigger than the rest of us. Very few photo’s even came close to eye level, I know that sounds silly at best but look at them now, not such a proud bunch except for the chosen few that slid through the hangman’s noose at the cost to us the little ones.<O</O
<O</O

Still nothing new as this domino effect has played on with events that was in our control to handle and tragically some that were not despite opinions and mix into this a almost gambling fever type mentality that allowed people that were border line or below in the ability to afford housing in an ever increasing market that had no foundation to fall prey to a false advertising if you will brought on a bit by the “ME FIRST” idealism that we had come to adapt and ask what about me? Moving from the “Pepsi Free” generation to the “its all about me” or the “entitled” did not come without some scrapes, scratches, and some dents.<O</O
<O</O

So here we are watching day by day holding our breath and releasing with an almost despair and the fear of worst yet to come, I can not forecast no more than the next that are way smarter than me and experts in their fields where this will go yet but can say with out much doubt Paul is in serious trouble and Peter is bust with misgivings about the whole thing. In final my granddad and father both lived the Great Depression in the 30’s and the stories they told made you stand still and ponder how and why. They survived as it is human nature when faced with challenge to adapt and over come adversity which is what we will do now and learn from it, I think this whole thing is based on check’s and balance’s as we have rode the free and easy life style to an excess and now the limits are there to be met.<O</O

this is the red white and blue, we will prevail.

but there has to be some major changes made, if there not made, things will not change. the future has to deal with the same thing only with more people. with that im confident,we will come through, and once again looked upon as a great nation, because we are

Yes, so very true, not only will we prevail but we must and learn. We are not stupid we have the ability.
