No Start After Replacing MFS
I ordered a replacement, pulled the column apart last night, and replaced the MFS. One of the connectors on the switch, and the related harness connector was a little singed/melted, but not completely so. After putting everything back together, I cranked the truck, but it was a no-start.
Before it was disassembled, everything worked fine (except for the flakey headlights due to the switch). After installation, the truck will crank fine, but appears to be getting no spark. All other electrical functions operate correctly. The battery is charged, and the connections are clean.
Any ideas/suggestions? Unless someone has specific input, I'm going to pull the column back apart and check that slightly burned connector housing, and look to see if I missed anything.
Thanks,
JD
