major pump problem

pump stoped working shop said must have been bad fuel just hade it rebuilt then it quit they said head locked up its my fault. can anything cause this other than bad fuel

I would suggest P poor shop rebuild...... who did the work and how long ago. Normally there is a 1 year warranty with IPs and any descent shop would stand behind their work. You are supposed to install a new fuel filter when you do the IP.

Have you done a waterpump replacement lately.......
