02 Brake Problems
I changed the brake pads. Went to bleed the lines and I am getting nowhere. There gets to be a little brake pressure in the pedal after pumping 12 - 15 times, but as soon as the pedal is held, and I brake the bleeder valve brake fluid runs out from behind the bolt head and so I close it off fast. As soon as I do that though, the pedal goes really soft again. What am I doing wrong?

I never bleed the brakes when i change them out on my 00 X.. after some slow driving around the neighborhood and such after i pump it a few times in my garage it takes care of itself.. all the bubbles will come back up into the brake fluid container.. other than that i dont know buch about the equipment your using.
