Early 99 fan
Ok I know the cooling fan should not run unless needed but shouldnt it come on and stay on for a few minutes . Somtimes i hear a fan noise cycle on and off every 5 seconds or so several times until i back off and let the truck cool a bit . But then again sometimes I hear a fan come on and it will stay on for several minutes then go off , mainly in the summer . At least I hope this is my fan coming on .
Sounds like there is some kind of sensor that controls the fan? Maybe needs replacing? Of course THEN Id need to know where it was
