I'm pretty sure there is a small gear sprocket/wheel on the back side of the brake drum that is used for adjusting the e-brake. Should be a little notch cut out on the back side of drum to access that sprocket. You'll probably have to pull your driver's rear wheel off. Probably one on the rear passenger side too.
The rear brakes are combination of disc and drum with the e-brake being a drum brake inside the rotor.
