Original Engine?
Once I know the engine serial number is there anyway to check to see if it is the original engine in my truck? Truck in question is a 1994 F-250 7.3l IDI-turbo. Engine type matches VIN, but there's some debate as to whether or not this is the actual original...

The only way that might work is if the build date stamps on the engine would happen to be dated after the truck build date. If it is original the build date should be earlier than the truck build date, a replacement could also have an earlier date.
