I am replacing all 4 of my ball joints tomorrow and I was wondering which ones to go with. The Moog ones are about twice as much as the masterpro (store brand, but I think its made by federal). Is there any advantage to spending twice as much?
If it was me, spend the extra cash and get the greaseable ones. Replaced one side ball joint and got the moog with grease fitting. Other side,s getting the same in time...
I Cant afford to order anything... Its my work truck and I have to get the repairs done tomorrow. Oreillys sells the MOOG joints, so I will go ahead and get them. As far as the hubs, if i get them from oreillys will they come with all the seals, or will I need to go to ford and get that yellow one?
Why do you think you need the hubs? And, do you have Advance Auto Parts?
We do have advance, but they are higher than oreillys, not to mention I have and account with Oreillys. I need new hubs because one of them is bad and I decided to do both at one time. My driver side hub is bad and my pass ball joints are bad, so im just going to do it all.
Got one side done and the MOOG joints are going back and Im getting the cheap ones before I do the other. The upper joint's grease fitting hits the U- joint. what a piece of crap
