Bowling Green TS Event Planning Thread

Hey guys and Gals,

I was thinking since we have already decided to make the TS event our Smokin replacement for the southern members we need an offical planning thread for the event so we can get organized. First off lets start with a head count how many people have more then a 50% possiblity of making this event in April (the date will be released ina month or two). How many would be bring there families, wives, GFs etc.

Campgrounds here is the camp ground that Bdrummonds looked up and found. When we find out when the event is we can go ahead and book the first spots and be grouped together for the ones that will be staying one site. Also something to consider is renting out a spot or two for parking right in Camp FTE.

I'm in, as long as it's not the very last weekend in April.

Edit: Mike, where's your rolling eyes smiley? I know you're not missing this. If I'm going, you're going.

Me, Wife and small child are definitely above 50%. We are hoping to have a 5er by then so this trip will serve as a great maiden voyage before we pull it to Oregon.

I,m definetly game. Told the wife about a trip to Smokin in TN. and she liked the idea. Just told her about the Kentucky GTG, the same. My kids don't have off from school but we could take them out for a couple days. It would be great if other members brought their families so the wives and kids could meet and hang out like JD said.

Yep, still here. That sounds good to me. We are still working on our 4k mile trek to Oregon so the dates of TS are crucial. If it's really close the TS thing is iffy. But we do need the maiden voyage. I would never take my family across the country with out a test run....

Sounding great guys if you could PM me with your status of going, how many people and where you would like to stay to get a good list going on would be great.

As Brandon said in the other forum we need an offical firedick, should we nominate Kris again like we did last year. I'll load up a load of fire wood to bring out that way.
