It is a phrase I have heard all my life, and it is "Git 'er, not Get 'er, and dun, not done. Anyway, it is used when the task at hand needs doing.

Joe - "Ya wanna help me milk the cows?"
Jim - "Yep! Lets git 'er dun.

When thru milking, "Well! We got 'er did.
