My X vs Smart Car
My best Bud, and X Mechanic works for Smart car ( funny, he thinks they are stupid too, but makes good coin )
I have been asking him to bring one home for some pics. I really was not prepared with my good camera. ( all I had was the iphone )
I also wanted to go to a parking lot and really stage up the photos right.
That did not work out, but these are still pretty funny.
Barely goes to the back of my front door !
Tbone is instant death for whomever is behind the wheel of this go-cart !
The big blue Oval is all you would see before death...hmmmm. Not that bad though.
The front end hitch basically will connect with someone's head !
What a joke! would not even see the car before it was over!

Here's two of our cars side by side...while not a smart car...it is a FUN CAR!
FWIW...You are right about getting T-Boned in the Smart car by an Ex...but I also wouldn't want to get T-Boned in the Ex by an 80,000# semi
or other 'large' commercial vehicle or Class-A diesel pusher coach!!!
So while the Ex is one of the largest vehicles on the road...we are NOT invincible...
But your point is well taken...the Smart car is basically smaller than EVERYTHING else on the road...oddly enough EVEN our MINI!!!
If you remember back when the Mini Cooper first came out (the modern cooper)...they used the Excursion in their television commercial...
I believe that is the ONLY television commercial I EVER saw an Excursion in...it had the Mini on the ROOF of the Ex!!!

Yup your right, i put a ranch hand on my truck yesterday night. I was gonna get a bull nose but then decided to get a full end replacement
