I have a 2006 Screw 4x4 with 54k miles. A few times recently I've heard a grinding noise from the front half of the truck while driving in 2wd on the road. It only lasts a second or two and goes away by itself. It sounds as if the 4wd tries to engage itself without me touching anything.
Is this common for this truck? I saw a post with IWE mentioned, what does that stand for? I love my truck and need to fix her.
