35x12.5x15 Wheels

I have a spare set of 15x8 in rims at the house and I was wondering if these tires would fit on these rims and fit under my 85 F150? Any ideas?

no. unless you have a lift on your truck and for a set of 35 in. tires you probably need a 4-6 in. lift. but the tires should fit on those wheels. (i think?) im pretty sure they will.

Tires will work on those wheels, but they won't fit under a stock F150.

Dick Cepek Tires&Wheels

Go there and look for 'tire fitment' in the list across the bottom.

8" lift required, so they say.

yeh u wont need no 8 in. lift 4 in. should do but some people go with like a 4 in. suspension lift and a 2 in. body lift and it looks real good

I have 4" of lift on my 1986 F150, and I was at the junkyard and found a decent set of 35s with chrome rims for 20 dollars a piece and I bought them, and they fit perfectly underneath my truck, but it has a 4" lift. As for the body lift, I personally arent a big fan of them at all, I would either buy the tires and do the lift the right way, or I wouldnt mess with it at all. Thats just my opinion.

Its only two wheel drive so it really isnt worth doing the lift kit to it. If I do it it will only be a body lift.

OHHH!! I, like UTfball68 just assumed it was a 4x4, there is not a chance they will fit with no lift, and you will probably be lucky to fit them with a 3" body lift on a 2wd. If they fit it would be a tight fit.

PS. I saw you were from IN too, what area are you in?

I had an 81 bronco with 35" mud kings and no lift. Those tires chewed on the fenders every time I hit a bump.

Being 2wd, I'd stick with 31's. You might get away with 32's and minimal rubbing if you use a stock type wheel.
