I have had a recurring problem with cupping on the inside and outside edges of my Goodyear Wrangler radials P245/75R16 that came stock on the 4x4.
I have taken the truck (Dealer says only 1 free aligment) to various tire and alignment shops thinking it was alignment and/or shocks. Finally sprung for the adjustable cams and alignment that has everything tracking much better. However, the newly rotated tires continue to show feathering on both inside and outside edges. Tires have been balanced and rotated every 5K miles. Only thing left is shocks.
What shocks would you recommend for occasional off road use but mostly highway driving. Off road is usually deer hunting in the mud and brushy south Texas areas.
i wouldn't fart on a set of goodyear wranglers, much less ride on them. buy ya some decent tires man. my daughters jeep wrangler had those worthless tires on it and they did the same thing. i put a small set of ground hawgs on it, 22,000 miles ago, no problems since.
