'95 exhaust problem

'95 exhaust problem

Recently, the narrow pipe that runs up from the top of the exhaust pipe between the cats has broken off. Could someone please tell me what this pipe is? I am assuming it has something to do with the emissions since it's connected between the two cats. Also, does anyone have any suggestions as to how this can be fixed?

Yep its for the emissions i took all that stuff of mine. My 95 was broken also, if they test in your area your gonna have to have it welded back on.

That's gonna be tough to weld without having to drop the cats. I just "love" the location it was put.

Yeah i agree, i would take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it.
