I just joined your forum and from reading some past posts I have already learned a lot about the 1986 F700 with the 370 4v. I wish I had known a lot of these things before I purchased it, because I probably would not have gone forward with the deal. But it is too late now, got to make the best of it.
Aside from title, registration and inspection issues, which have surfaced since I paid $1,700 for it, things hopefully will get better. I drove it about 120 miles to get it back from where I bought it, and probably got about 3 miles per gallon. It back fires between shifts and intermitently while going down the road at 55 mph. Oh well...I will be posting some specific questions once I get the title, and registration issues straightened out (hopefully).
