Fuel Leak Question

There's a small pool of fuel gathered towards the rear of the valley on passenger side.
Soaked it up yesterday ran the truck for about 10min and felt around the blue hoses, that have a yellowish color on them but they weren't wet.
Looked at the heat exchanger and fuel filter bowl area no leaks from there.
Last night I read on here about a weep hole under the fuel pump so I'll get an inspection mirror today to check on that.
How long does the fuel pump last if it does start leaking from the weep hole?
I know the truck is 14 years old but it only has 98,200 miles on it now!!!!!!!!

I don't think that there is a mileage or time estimate that a mechanical pump will last. I had to change my '97 out at 80K. If it's leaking it needs changing. Not a hard job especially if you DON'T have a Cali model (pita)

A new pump with a life time warranty will cost right around $100.00 bucks. All of the pumps are made my "Carter" regardless of the brand on the box. Don't even consider a re manufactured pump. Too much work for the chance.

If needed, there are an over abundance of help instructions on this forum to assist you in changing out the pump.

Good luck.

I got mine at Napa and it may have been $100.00-$125.00 I just don't recall but I'm sure it wasn't more than that (I think)

Price at Autozone is 63 bucks for the fuel pump.

I was trying to get the picture off the autozone web site so I knew if the Tappet was the thumb tack looking piece at the bottom of it. Started taking it apart tonight but since it's not my primary ride I'll finish it up later. Though it is Awesome to drive
