Went to my favorite "auto recycler" today to scout a seat for my '54 F100.
About a year ago, they had a major fire that burned up I guess about 10 acres of cars in a wooded area of the yard. Now that they have cleared the trees and cleaned up the area, they are moving cars out of the wooded area that remains and stacking them in the clearing.
I have been going to this yard for 30+ years, and don't ever recall seeing these trucks before. Kind of neat to see what I've been missing. (Excuse the crappy cell phone pics)
By the way, I found a mint condition late '80's Ranger 60/40 seat that he wants $100 for. Good deal, or no?
I didn't have time to pull it today, 'cause it would've required them to move a car so I could get to it, and they're really busy on Saturdays. I may go back next week and get it.
Man, why are they piling up the old cars/trucks. The can sell them if they are all jacked up.Where is capitalism when you need it? Where is this place?
Later, Mike
