pink XLT on 2002 ???

just bought 2002 150 super cab with pink xlt letters on the fender,they r pink why is this

Sun fade or someone painted them. They are red originally. This is assuming you are talking about the XLT that is in the badge.

Yep they faded. I wish someone made a sticker or something to replace them. When I acetoned my badges it removed the XLT completely.

Back when I had those badges I painted mine a really deep red, mine had faded to almost pink. Looked pretty good but took a lot of time to do. I've thought about painting the "5.4L" in my '05 badges red I think it would look really good.
