OD light

hey guys my OD light is on I'm guessing broken wire in the shifter because if i wiggle my shifter it goes out, my question is can the shifter be switched out or how do i go about fixing this thanks

Either replace the shift lever (includes the wires) or take the column shroud covers off and repair the wiring where it exits the lever arm.

If it is your wire thats broken its pretty easy to fix, its a pretty common problem, ya should be able to search it, and get some specific instructions. Its been awhile since i did that on my old 97 truck, but I remember it was easy, i dont remember all the specifics though.
