AdvanceAuto for me. It's the closest to the house (10 mins.), and the Manager there is great. He's an older guy and really knows his stuff. Plus, he gives my friends and I his 10% discount.

FYI: AdvanceAuto was founded right here in Roanoke

Back in the day when auto parts had machine shops we had two great ones a NAPA and a SWAP you could get anything and they had old farts with the experience to help us high school students with all the strange transplants we built prior to Ford and Chevy putting some what decent motor transmission combos in to their 4x4’s. Anyone remember the day when a LTD wagon or two wheel drive Chevy had stronger drive train than their 4X4? Sadly the auto parts have now turned in to just another store.

We have a parts place here called Quality Auto Parts and they sell just about anything for a car, truck, tractor or atv. If they can't get it, usually no one else can either!
Local owned and operated!
Next it would be O'Rilleys then NAPA.
Auto Zone is good if in a hurry for cleaning stuff etc...
