C-4 Dipstick
I am working to put headers on my 1970 F-100 302 with a C-4. I have almost gotten everything to fit, the only thing left really is the dipstick tube for the transmission. It comes out too far and hits the ollector flange, has anyone had this problem? How did ya fix it? Or else, does anyone have any idea how to bend this, I figure doin it with my hands may kink it so that isn't really an option. Any other ideas?

Only a little ways(I think...and hope), the only problem is, for one, noone has a tubing bender big enough. Any suggestions where to go? Already checked pep boys and checker. Second, the tube gets bigger at right around the point i'd need to be making the bend.
I was thinking that I could possibly just get a 5/8" steel tube the same length and just bend it to go how I need it and then flare it and put the threaded part on it. Do you think this could work?
