I've always had a thing for older bronco's and ford pick ups. Lately I have been really thinkin about gettin rid of my 06 Yamaha Banshee. Browsing through craigs list I found this: 79 bronco for quad
Just wondering, what you guys think. Is it worth trading my mint condition Banshee for?
What do Bronco's like that usually go for? I know without seeing it in person its hard to make a call, but let me know what you guys think, fair or not fair trade. Thanks
looks to me like that bronco is pretty dang good shape (major body panels at least). heck i even seen a hint of a shine on the paint! and wtih a 460, i'm impressed!
this is where the opinions come in... i used to LOVE riding quads all the time but in the past 5 years my passion has been with trucks and rockcrawling. asking someone like me what they would do is sort of a loaded question, so to speak. if you are just gettin tired of the quad and it sits a lot or you just have a hankering to get a bronco, go for it. i think (remember, this is without seeing EITHER your quad or the bronco) as a straight up trade, FMV for FMV, it is a decent deal for the both of you. a bronco like that around here would prolly go for about $3000-$4000
just my opinion and not meant to be insulting to anyone!
hmm, tough one, maybe see if you can get a little cash out of him to?... You will love that 460 I guess it would depend on how bad the rust is, if its gonna need quarters on both sides then get some cash out of him for sure.
Wish i could find a 79 bronco.... I would seems to be good and straight forward, the real deal breaker or maker is how often you use the quad or if your just looking to get rid of it. I love 4wheelers, so i dont think i would do it. But thats just me, then again, it depends on how clean that bronco is and what kinda running gear it has...
Yea, its an idea that goes back in forth in my head. One minute its bronco, next minute its keep quad.
I rarely use the quad, used to ride alot. Its gonna be one of those things where I will regret seein the quad go, but I can always pick another up.
Its just an idea in my head, nothing serious right now.
I almost traded the quad i on my motorcycle, they were going to give me $2,500. She's got a few goodies on her, I would ask a little over 3 if I were sellin private.
well sounds like a good deal to me....
I would do it.... Quads are easy to come buy, heck they have dealerships...
How many dealerships have you seen for 79 ford trucks and bronco's?
I haven't seen any...
that truck looks awesome personally id do it in a minute but im a truck guys not a quad guy...and if the sale value is round the same might as well..the bronc will have heat and a stereo lol and says hes got lots of extra part to go with it so there ya go man im gealous
Just my opinion, but I would have a hard time trading a Banshee for anything at that value. Sure Quads are a dime a dozen, but they are not Banshee's. You have the latest and greatest of the Banshee, so I would think twice before getting rid of it. If you have to debate it, you will later hate you got rid of it.
Well I just talked to the guy he said the frame was jsut sand blasted and painted and the motor has about 90k on it. Waitin on more pics from him before I get too serious.

that is true, but you can find a dealership and either buy or order a new banshee.....
Have you found a dealership that you can walk into and buy old bronco's and trucks?
as in pre 80'
If so pm me asap, as i wanna know where this place is!
