Dammit, my fuel system uses Cat filters so no freebies for me. But even if was stock Ford would be the last place I'd buy a filter.

NO!

They wanted $48 for a fuel filter lid, I got it for $7 from IH

They wanted over $30 for the 3 pieces of fuel line between the pump and bowl. $5 from NAPA

$9 each for banjo bolts for the front calibers and they would have to order the copper washers. Bolts and crush washers for both sides for less than $5 from Napa

There's a long list or reasons I don't buy from the dealer, should I continue?

haha - no, I get the drift!
I thought it was a concern you had with their product quality, I was going to say my experience with Motorcraft has been quite the opposite.

Price on the other hand is an entirely different thing!

it is a nice hat. I will see if I can get the guys at napa to order some filters and get me a hat Napa is the greatest. when they have your personal cell number memorized ya know there good.
