Integrated seat belt help

Integrated seat belt help
My drivers seat belt has difficulty retracting. Is there anything short of replacing it that can help. My truck is a 2002 Ford f150 super cab.

I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT screw with your seatbelt. You will be screwing with your safety and the safety of anybody that drives the truck (wfe, kids). I think your safety and that of others is worth far more than the cost of a new seatbelt. Dan.

Yeah you can open them up and screw with them, but its not recomended.
I had a problem with the pass side seat belt in my 97, it got stuck so bad i couldnt loosen it, and i had to take it apart, to un stick it.
If it wasnt working properly I would have just replaced it.

Thanks for the replies, I never intended to mess with safety, I was just hoping there was a fix.
How difficult is it to replace the integrated seat belt? Does the seat have to come apart?
