FPR screen
Can someone please explain exactly what the FPR screen does? And better yet how does the truck react if this screen is clogged? Would this trigger a Fuel Filter light and possibly fool the truck into shutting down as if it were running out of fuel? I have searched over some past posts on the screen but have more confused than I was before. I would appreciate someone explaining this in laymans terms. Thanks A bunch!

The FPR screen is there to catch anything that may be in the return line to the tank...
If clogged ,,may cause an irattic idle due to air in the lines ..
Thats how the air is removed from the system...

The filter restriction light comes on when the filter is plugged ..
Have you changed the filter ?...
