Door Light Switch

All the posts I have read on this suggest that you spray WD 40 into the latch on the door where the switch is located and this will clean the contacts so it usually works again.

Door Light Switch

Sounds like there may be a problem with the pin switch that controls the light when you open or close the door. I replaced the one in my Ford F150 and the problem went away. My interior lights do not come on anymore. Try that and see what happens.
