So my Dad has a 2003 Jeep Wrangler... 6" lift running 33's. A few days ago he was driving down the street, and a Bobcat took a wide turn, right into the side of the Jeep. The bucket hit him behind the passenger side front tire, tearing into the body of the vehicle, and peeling open the nerf bar. It continued down the body and ripped open the rear tire and bent the rim.

Now to the meat of my post. I want to find the same type of nerf bar and rim. I will post pictures of both tomorrow. The "step pad" has the words "American Steel" on them. I think the rims are American Racing but I'm not positive. I'll post the pictures in the morning.

So here is the nerf bar... Standard 3"

And the wheel. I took out the rest of the picture cause it was really blurred.

Like I said, I think it is American Racing.

Yep - That is an AR 767 Rock Krawler wheel. Got a set meself on the Bronco. Sorry to hear about that stupid bobcat ruining your Dad's day. Now is the time to UPGRADE!! Has your dad thought about body armor vs the nerfs? Poison Spider makes some really cool skid armor that mounts to the body where the nerfs are. It wraps underneath and mounts to the body mount bolts. I think they can be had with small step tubes on them. Good luck getting it fixed.

He'll have to have the steps..., Not to talk bead about my old man, but he is 5'5", 250lbs. It takes a lot of work for him to get in the Jeep with the nerf bar.

But yeah, I thought about advising him to put the armour on.

Going crazy here too. Everybodys email went nuts for about 2 and a half hours. Couldn't send or recieve. We were told that the office that we had been using as storage had been rented, and we have until Saturday to move out. Guess who is in charge of that? Clients in the office today, So I couldn't wear my jeans and t-shirt. Same old thing, too much to do and not enough time to do it in.

They do look like the AR 767s. But, I don't think it's a 767. No red/blue line around the rim. But, the same shape LOL... (round)

The red/blue lines can be removed with nail polish. I know lots of guys who have done that. Mine are slowly wearing off.

BTW - G' Morning all!! Friday!!

Tomorrow I'm heading for the Jemez for a run with the NM 4 Wheelers. We're going for a fall colors run along the west and north rims of the Valles Caldera - over to Los Alamos area and back via Rt 4. Gonna be a blast!
