Good afternoon Wyoming. Spent the day doing yard work. It's in the mid-70's, so nice day for it. Going to watch Nebraska play (and probably get beat by) Misouri tonight. Everyone have a good day!!

 

Good Sunday morning Wyoming...what a day for a day dream!!! Looks like everyone must have gone back to bed after doing the chores!!!

What area do you hunt? I've hunted 73, 75, and 32 over the years.

 

I hunt area 38 that is where my ranch is. Lot of bucks but not a lot of does except on the sacred land as we call it. No hunting on that land, and the stupid animals know it.

 

Well let me tell ya about my weekend. On Saturday I went to a tea party, ladies only. I had to get all dressed up, that was funny. Then they taught how to act. So not me, to many rules. But had a time of my life. When the party was done, me and 2 of my friends stayed and help clean up. I felt like a teenager again. We had girl talk, it was so wierd. Stayed all day at the party. Love to do it again.

Hunting did not go to well, but tomorrow I will try it again.

Good morning Ken and Pat. Had a good weekend except for the Red Sox loss last night. It was a really good game and it really should not have been as close as it was. Maybe they can finish off the Angels tonight. Pat, the price of everything managed to price me out of an in state license.

Good morning every one, hope all is well with every one. Been out with the hunter looking for the big buck Antelope. Have been watching since yesterday morning for the just right one but with all the hunters comming through the country and harvesting I told mine he probably better take the one in my lower pasture. It is not a bad one, not the largest but is available.

The price of out of state even for Antelope is staggering far as I can tell. Bought a doe tag yesterday for $22.00, I remember $5.00 for resident not so long ago.

It makes me look harder at shooting my own beef and being done with it. I guess time will tell.

 

I wonder why but I enjoyed hunting more years back dont get me wrong if I have a good stalk going on and the pay off is good it is still a rush but I just find it harder to get in the mood any more.
