CRAIGSLIST, internet dating???
I was looking at the "women looking for men" dating deal on craigslist and noticed that the pictures used in one city was being used in MANY other cities across the nation. You know "female looking for male" kind of a thing. Now I'm convinced it's ALL a set up to LURE people in. Who's doing this?
Maybe police, government etc.
Maybe they r profiling people? Who knows.
Also, noticed that there is a "errotic" list. Looks like craigslist is not that family oreinted after all.
Don't go there unless u want to look "right down the barrel" of something.
I trust the internet like I trust lasik eye surgery.

Those are fake ads used by pay dating sites. If you reply to the ad thinking it is a girl in your town, they will send you a fake e-mail from a fake girl telling you that if you want to write her, you need to join such and so dating site.
If you want to try internet dating try plenty of fish. It's a lot like craigslist. Very down to earth, very little advertising, and free to use.

I've been there, done that.
Like anything else online, you do have to be careful and reasonable while sifting through the crap.
I met two or three women via Craigslist that were more or less who they said they were...

There are a lot of ads in the personals section of craigslist that are bait for pay dating sites, like websthes says. However, there are a few real people that post on there. I have met quite a few women online, either via craigslist, yahoo personals, or eharmony. Although I haven't had to use one of those sites in almost four years now as I met the love of my life on craigslist. No, seriously. 
We're engaged and getting married in December, and I could not have found a better woman.
There are a few diamonds in the rough, but really, it's no different than meeting women at the local bar.

I go on craigslist almost every day...but I stay away from the personals, I go there to look at cars and parts for sale (and to sell stuff myself...had really good luck unloading a lot of my crap on there!)
Just like many places on the 'Net, there are lots of weirdos and creeps on there, and it can be a lot of work to weed 'em out and find the few diamonds sprinkled around. I'm not sure Andy's results are typical, but I'm glad it worked out for him. And he's right, 1FBB is a sweety...!
