91-94 Explorer Window Fix
hello all...thought I'd post some useful stuff...
I recently inherited a '93 Explorer EB...normal wear for the year including the annoying click click click sound from ALL of the windows. I have looked High and Low for a solution and there are only a couple of posts on it.
What I have found at Lowe's for $.92/for a pack of 2 are Nylon Spacers made by Hillman, size 1/2 x .194 x 1/2. These spacers fit PERFECTLY inside the gear and for less than a $1.50 window (and a little of your time) you can fix the windows.
Just thought I'd pass on the information (ps...I looked for 4 days for bearings or gears for the inside...I found some but none at this price point).
