F250 Engine shroud??

Recently got into a 2001 F250 4x4. In the front wheel wells, there is a decent sized gap that exposes the motor on both sides. There are even punched holes where it would appear that plastic body rivets should be holding a shroud to protect the motor from mud or water.

Has anyone else noticed this? Do anyone know if I can pick up some after market shrouds to fill this gap? Thanks.

There is a gap filler you can buy from aftermarket companies. I forget the name, but it is used to fill in the gap around the wheel wells at the bed and next to the engine compartment when giving the truck a body lift. that may work for you.

They are called lift lips. Funny name, yeah. They are for body lifted vehicles and work quite well. They may have a set for unlifted vehicles as well.
