I almost got my truck all together, and there is no wireing to plug into my o2 sensor? I dont know where it is suppose to come from for sure but there is a 4 wire strip of harness with a plug on the end that is ziptied and go down alogn with the starter wire? Is that the plug , and is there suppose to be a wire that plugs into that then goes to the 02? or does that go to the o2?
When I bought my stock ford replacement postive bat cable assembly it was complete with the O2 harness to one sensor. Pehaps someone can post you a diagram if you give year & engine.
The O2 sensor wire does go down beside the engine block along with the starter cable. The four wire plug on the wires bundled with the starter wire attaches to a connector in the under-hood wiring, and the other end plugs into the O2 sensor underneath the engine.
ok great so I should be good to go then . it appered tht whoever had the truck before had the o2 way down the line in the exhaust and I guess ran some wiring themselves to lengthen it. I just hacked my pass side longtube header up and welded the old bung in so the reg wire should reach. but if for some reason it doesn't will it hurt if I lengthen those wires 6 inches?
