Thats one reason I've not upgraded to a newer truck... cant even get the stick anymore and I aint givin it up no matter how many folks now-a-days dislike the manuals. But I am considering a SD... 6 speed stick, manual shift 4x4, and still manual lock out hubs, and more truck to boot just less mpg which right now is a big negative since I really dont need the SD.

To be honest I think thats becomming more common. It seems back when I was a teen pretty much anyone could drive stick but now seems like its becomming pretty rare.

To be honest I really like your before pic, but I think its because the pic itself is better, clear brilliant colors with the light glistening. I've only ever owned two autos, and I never stop complaining about em or how they shift. The way I see it is pretty soon were all going to just be passengers in our own vehicles, the driving will all be automated by the computer... I like to retain whatever control I can over the process. Heck I dont even like power windows. Seems almost every vehicle I've drove with those eventually had problems. Never had a crank window fail one me yet lol.

I sold my F150 and got me an '85 'Yota. Trippled my gas mileage, even with a worn out carb. Cheaper parts, no computer BS on the engine, and easy to work on! Plus, I don't have to worry about scratches or dents

Your 'yota is pretty neat(for a toyota), reminds me of this one my uncle used to have (his what white though), but your ford was super nice, always did like that thing when ya posted pics of it.
