cheapest way out
looking for the cheapest way to get a exhaust with high flow converters on my truck i am looking for a more free flowing exhaust for better miledge and more power what would the differance be if i just put on a catback as apposed to a converter too anybody know of any universal kits for cheap thanks in advance

I had my exhaust done from headers to a dump at the rear axle for 220. That included two glass packs.
I think that if you get the cat, and have the exhaust dump in front of the axle, or exit infront of rear tires, it would be the cheapest.

Buy some universal high flow cat(s) and glasspacks online from summitt or some other place, then just have a shop mount them up and run them to the rear wheels.
Or
Install a catback system, then get a universal cat online and have a shop mount that up.

You should always check the price of your local shops converter installed first, you may be spending more money buying it and then paying the shop to install it. We get a minimum of $75 to install someone's cat, more if it's not a simple install
