leaky hubs

i just came back from a long trip and have grease stains on my rims and the bolts on the hub are a little loose. what should i do just take apart repack with grease and put back together is this common

I would just tighten the screws back up and watch it. If it persists, pull the cap and check the o-ring.

Not sure what bolts you are talking about but either the grease seals are worn or the hubs were over packed with grease or there is too much play in the wheel bearings. I would replace the seals, repack with grease and adjust the wheel bearings.

I think he is talking about the screws that hold the cap on the hub.
I could be wrong.

No I am wrong, you are right. For some reason I was thinking two wheel drive. Your post was not shown when I replied. So FourWheel, ignore my first post. Go with Alz.
