chip installation questions

hey guys, i just bought a used ts performance chip and have no directions for installation. plus ive heard a few horror stories about doing it wrong. im a decent mechanic but i dont know zilch about chips. can someone give me some pointers or tell me where i can find some directions at? thanks a bunch

take the keys and put um in the back seat!!! any kind of markings on the chip?

thanks guys. my install is in without a hitch! and wow what a difference! i thought i did screw up though. what a scare! i loosened the bolt on the pcm and it started raining. i decided to move the truck out of the rain b4 i got started and ....nothing. i figured i had screwed the pcm up like everyone told me not to do. thank GOD when i decided to go ahead and finish, all was well!
