Transmission Slipping Badly

Transmission Slipping Badly
The transmission seams to shift fine until it warms up, then it slips going into high gear badly. When you let off of the pedal and then touch it again the slipping usually stops. Could this be caused by dirt in the lines? Any Ideas?

Your profile says you drive a 2009 F-150. We've all got 7.3 diesel-powered trucks here. How would any of us know?
There's an F-150 forum here on FTE where they may know of how that transmission operates, and slips, too.

I have no idea why my profile says i have a 09 f-150, i have a 01 f-250 7.3 diesel along with a 97 f-250 powerstoke diesel. The one i am talking about is the 01 f-250. It has the 4eod transmission.
