Paul heres how i did my TTBification. I just torched all my IFS out from under my truck along with the rearend. But i left the rear springs. I then made brackets and added another set of leaves up front. I then dropped it all onto a 84 F-150 4wd chassis and attached the leafpacks to teh other frame with u bolts just like you would the rearend. Rides kinda like a Kenworth with an airride cab.
6'' body is just perfect, be sure to use chinese hockey pucks, I prefer chopped up railroad rail stood on end for front lift blocks, your u bolts will be a little short, use ready rod, just heat it and bent it. Hope you got ttb cause nothing else will stand up to the abuse from the 56'' ag tires
oh never mind, to by, well in that case no worries from the front end, you should swap out the 9'' rear for a 7.5'' out of a ranger or bronco II though, a little narrow so it will be easy on the flux capacitor.
Keep an eye on the canastic pin, that may not like the ag tires
If you hear any funny noise from this rig its not the d/s angle....
its the tiny uni-corn inside your tranny, just feed it some sea foam, that fixes everything!
also.... get a few bottles of no2.... When hitting mud hole. creep in real slow like, then floor it and spray till the cows come home!
This works best on the stock engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If by some strange reason the engine gives out... just keep sprayin the no2, maybe it will come back to life!!!!
i want to do a body lift...and i found a second frame can i just stack the 2 frames on top of each other? and i bought some grade 5 bolts too will they be strong enough?
ok a real question....when you guys say hockey pucks do people really but real hockey pucks in as a body lift? because my jeep buddies refer to there spring spacers as hockey pucks but they are not real hockey pucks just a spacer for the spring....i just couldnt see someone taking real hockey pucks and drilling a hole in it and using it as a body lift....
