new IP knocks

I just put new reman ip from ford on and it feels like there is a knock when it decelerates. Like when you rev it up and let it drop back to idle. Played around with the timeing mark now its dead on but it still feels like there is a knock in pump?

Not normal by any means but ........ on occasion an injector can allow combustion back into the IP to injector line causing a knock........ usually indicated by a very very warm IP/injector line near the injector. Make sure all the lines are in the correct location on the IP header.......

Sorry, it took me a while to get to the spam.

Did you by any chance turn the fuel up any before you installed the IP?

No I did not turn up the fuel. Had my friend who is a reputible HD mec listen to it and he give it a clean bill of health and the truck runs cleaner now . No prob with the spam You must filter a ton of it . On my bike site they have stop singing up Gmail accounts untill they can verify that they are not computer generated accounts.
thanks Butch
