She lives!!

Well I figured I would give ya'll an update. Thanks to Dave's (I think) tip I pulled the water separator and filter drained them and put in fresh diesel, filled the tank with fresh diesel and conditioner (Dang I already hate having a diesel after fillin it up), put two new batteries along with new wires and she cranked up after a minute of turnin over and a small shot of ether.

Anywho, the motor runs beautiful except for a small leak on the #1 injector, do they sell o ring kits for these or do I have to buy a new injector?

The tranny is slightly sick (takes time searchin for gears, but when it finds it it hits hard and doesn't slip) so I rekon that it is low on fluid/dirty filter.

The glowplug wire harness is a little beat up, does anyone sell a new harness by itself or do I have to make my own?

Finally, I pulled the starter (super pain compared to pullin a starter on 300I6) took it to town tested it and it came back good, turns out there was a broken wire comin to it, but when I was installin it I noticed that it had a mitsubishi logo on it. Did mitsubishi make these starter for Ford or is this an aftermarket starter?

P.S. sorry for the long post, but I love havin a diesel

They make new injector cap kits and I think they are a huge waste of money. Just go to a place that sells orings and get the closest size you can to teh ones you have. I paid like $6 for 100 orings.

When I got my engine everyone of my caps leaked...just replaced all the orings...using the old caps and have yet to spot a leak.
