I have spent alot of time chasing motorcycles and race trucks in mexico. I getting my truck ready for the baja 1000 coming up in november. I have recently noticed a thumping noise will going over chatter bumps. I went over the mounts and found i can push the rear of the transfer case up about 1.5 inches with my foot. I think the rear cross member to transfer case mount is shot. What do you think-can you do this on your rig-let me know what u think.

 

That race is a punisher, if it's worn it will break there. I'd replace any doubtful objects.

 

I have hung up my helmet after two need children-i now provide race support- anyway fix it now or pay extra down south. thanks for your input
