engine speed control kick out
I am tring to find anything here to help me with the axu engine speed control. The truck Is a 01 550 7.3 6spd box truck With lift gate. The truck has the drive shaft cut and run to a transfer box to run a pto in 4th at 2500rpms. The problem is that if you use the lift gate the rpm controler kicks out.
So I am tring the search to see what I find that might help. But if someone here were able to help me faster great.

Perhaps the PTO is loading the engine so much that the rpm drops farther/faster than the electronics want to see during use. So it turns off for safety reasons.
Kind of like the cruise control kicking off if the vehicle speed drops more than 10 mph when pulling a heavy load up a mountain pass.

Perhaps try it in third gear and see what happens.

Ok but it is when you use the lift gate which is 12 volt. the pto makes 480 volts seperate of the trucks electrical system.and there is no change in engine speed when using the 480 just heavy 12 use. I hope to find wiring info or system logic.
