Ford 6+6?

Ford 6+6?
I own a 1983 Ford F150 with the straight 300 and a C6 Transmission. I've heard they call trucks like these 6+6s? Is there any benefit to owning one of these compared to another drivetrain combination? I use it as a daily driver, I don't get to due too much hauling/towing since I'm still just a kid

i have heard of this before, not sure if it is a ford term though. its for trucks with a straight "6" and a C"6", thus resulting in a "6+6". It is just a decent drivetrain, as both the motor and tranny are well built and should last you a while if taken care of. some might say it is a "bulletproof" drivetrain, but thats only if you maintain it correctly. good luck , its a good combo for reliability
