Tires size?

Im thinking about putting 35" super swampers on my '78 f-150, it has 33x12.50's on it and a 3" lift with off-set wheels. If i put those 35's on it, will there be any rubbing, and will i have to trim the fenders?

Tires size?

super swamper tends to make there tires bigger then stated (good thing, more tread) when i got mine i had to cut or else i couldnt turn at ALL. you might be able to fit those tires but your not gonna have a lot of travel though. the wheels my tires are on have a 4" off set so they clear everything fine. im not sure about the body demensions for that year though.

well its been my personal expirance, that a 78' f-150 will "usauly" fit 33's stock, and 35's with either about 2-3" lift or a little triming. A friend of mines dad had a 79' f-150 with 6" clearing 38" swampers no prob. Fyi my 89' has probably 4-5" lift and clears 35's eaisly, and the older trucks always sat higher.
