2002 supercrew 4.6 v8 spline

i need to know what the spline is in my rear end?

You have the 8.8 ford rear axle. It should be 31 spline, I beleive the only 8.8s that used the 28 spline were the rangers and I think some older mustangs.

all f150 8.8's have 31 splines.
