computer

I have a 2002 F250 6.8 4X4 How can I find out what exactly the computer talks to? meaning which sensors etc. I couldn't find it in the owners manual, is there some book or does anyone know how to obtain this information? I have a software program along with hardware that I can hook up to my truck computer and my notebook, I need to set the settings exactly so the program can monitor and record the sensors etc.

Thanks in advance

You might want to look at this:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...t-come-on.html

IN there is a link to the Motorcraft website that shows exactly what is (and isn't) used on the V10.

Not sure why you have to tell your software what's there and what's not though, my Autotap software knows by looking at the computer itself, and/or using the VIN.

thanks for the link and responding, this program is written by Palmer Engineering, there is one section where you check the boxes of which parameters, sensors etc. that you want to monitor, the list is pretty long.

Oh, I would think what doesn't exist would not be selectable. Maybe not
