[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Mar-02 AT 09:40 AM (EST)]it seems whenever i go through puddles or what not with my 92 ranger, something must get wet under the hood that shouldnt cause it spuddlers for awhile when i try to accelerate....it'll go away after like 15-20 mins, but it sucks...can anyone help me out?

How deep are the "puddles?" That sounds a lot like getting water in the exhaust pipe.

try spraying a light coat of WD40 on your distributor cap before you go through a puddle. It is spuddering cuz the water is causeing a sort somewhere and once it drys it is ok. Try the WD40 thing or go to an off-road shop and they sell some different kinds of water repellent for electrical systems that isn't as FLAMABLE as WD40. DON'T soak your electric system with the WD40. Or you can do this simple test in your driveway with a garden hose lightly spraying the engine with water while it is running in certain areas
