Hey I installed the Super runner kit on my 82 F150. It takes a few simple tools and about a days worth of work with a little help. I'm also removing the TTB and installing a strait axle out of a 79. If you want some tips on either I'd be glad to help with any info I have. Also opt for the add-a-leaf in the rear due to the factory rear bump stop blocks. The simple tools are wrenches, sockets, pitman arm puller, drill, ball joint seperator, a grinder, and you need to replace the axle piviot bushings while it's apart.

http://www.setstr8.com/ my truck will be as tall as the Bronco on the front page. Same setup i got. You say that its expensive...yes....but i have seen the quality first hand and its bar none! boxed radius arms....that are bent to allow larger tires...and even longer than the stock '78 Bronco's (wich are already long!). Can you say flex? they give you ALLLL the hardware to install. Poly bushings and detailed instructions....the only beef i have with them is that their cust service is rotten. I had a dual shock kit made and it didnt get included. I have been tring to get it for almost a year now.....you would fig since i paid ...i would have it.....but i hope they will come around. but i am just waiting on my engine to get finshed so i can put it on. will make me happy. when i get it up and running ill post some pics. my two....

Future plans: A draw through Twin(or big single) Turbo setup (to help with the upper end)
A '86 model has a low engine cross member to work with the TTB front end. If you just put a solid axle under there, it (the pumkin) will hit the crossmember. Did you modify this or run a lift?
Second...with a coil sprung axle, you have to run a panhard bar. Where did you find the room to mout this bracket? the frame is not flush where you need to mount it. if you move it fwd, you interfear with the steering. Move it back, it simply wont work (crossmember interfears). you can use the engine cross member to mount a bracket....but you would have to find a shorter panhard bar..BUT there is that clearence issue again....and i might add it woudl have to be adjustable as well.
Next, the 86 spring bucktet will not work with the mono springs. they are narrower springs than the '86's. you would have to swap out the spring buckets.
Other than that.....its pretty straight fwd. I just dont want anyone going out and buying an axle and just tring to stick it under the truck hoping it will magicly work....it wont....some of us can modify things to make it work...some cant....just have to know your limits...i am here telling what i encountered when i tried to get the dana 44 mono to fit. Thought it would be just as easy to buy a kit...rather second guessing my custom fab job i would almost certanly have to perform to make the swap work.
Just my 2 cents......
